Stroud Broadcasting
Carriage

Carry your network across the Poconos.

We are building two low-power TV stations serving Monroe County and the surrounding Poconos, both fed from one headend in Stroudsburg. Networks, regional channels and program producers can lease a full-time subchannel on one station or both, delivered over the air free to every viewer in range. Both stations' applications are pending before the FCC; neither station is authorized or on the air, and carriage would begin when each station is built and signs on.

What you get

Simple to carry

A full-time subchannel on one station or both, in HD or SD (ATSC 1.0, which works on any digital TV). Send one feed by SRT or IP to our Stroudsburg headend and we handle encoding, program guide data and station IDs, with redundant microwave paths to both transmitter sites. Flexible terms, and two-station packages.

Figures are predicted population and households inside each station's FCC service contour (Channel 5: 43 dBu; Channel 29: 50.2 dBu), computed with the FCC's TVStudy software from 2020 Census data, before interference from other stations. Combined figures count the area both stations cover only once. Actual reception varies with terrain, antenna and location. Facilities shown are as specified in the pending applications and may change.
