Stroud Broadcasting files to bring new TV to the Poconos

We've taken the first step toward putting a new local television station on the air: Stroud Broadcasting has filed an application with the FCC for a new low-power television (LPTV) facility to serve Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, and the greater Poconos.

The application proposes broadcasting on virtual channel 18 (RF channel 16) from the Stroudsburg area, and is now pending FCC acceptance for filing — the next milestone in the process.

There's a road ahead before sign-on, and we'll post each milestone here as it happens. Our goal is simple: free, over-the-air, local television for the Poconos.
